 About the cover art: The Old Well by George Nick Last summer Sheldon '63 and Leena Peck presented the Ackland Art Museum with this painting of the Old Well by George Nick. The gift was made in honor of Ackland Director Gerald Bolas. The Ackland's recent exhibition, Fresh Woods and Pastures New: Seventeenth-Century Dutch Landscapes Drawings from the Peck Collection, was the result of the Pecks' desire to share their collection and expertise with Carolina.
